What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you?

I was really surprised that Jesus language was Aramaic I just assumed that he spoke Hebrew and learning that Jesus family was middle class was an interesting fact to me. It is not something that I really thought about while reading about his upbringing in the Bible.
