"According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?" It means that though God loves all the people i this world,but he has a very special devine favour for you.That he has a special and unique attention for you.Like a father who has a lot of children,but there is one who is always his pet child.They are so close to each other and the child is all the time at his fathers side,he does whatever his father says and obeys everything his father tells him to do. The devine favour of God follows him all the time.

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love. God loves us unconditionally- through trials and tribulations, through repeated mistakes and sheer stupidity. But because we love God and he forgives us and sees us as pure we increase our love for his grace. There is no-one on this earth who can forgive like God forgives. Most of us have feelings which can be easily hurt- we must strive to overcome these feelings/emotions. But God doesn't operate on this emotive level, he is the ultimate "love" in our life. God puts our sins in the "sea/see of forgetfullness". Therefore each day is anew and we can continue to love him as he does us- without judgement and unconditionally. Every day, with faith our love for the Almighty becomes ever more important.
