1325 entries for this category: I believe that there are several reasons behind Jesus choosing Mary Magdaline to spread the news of His resurection. First and foremost, she believed that Jesus was Lord( John 20:2) she refers to Jesus as Lord, secoundly, woman are seen as guardians of the heart and Jesus was very close to the hearts of the women that came to visit His tomb to annoint His body with spices (Mark 16: 1-8) and thirdly, in Jesus days women were not seen to be important and I believe that Jesus; by first appearing to Mary Magdalene emphasised the importance of women in our lives and the equality that they deserve. I was asked this question and i thought it would make a good piece for discussion.

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love. Because he who is forgiven liitle, loves little. If one is going to forgive, it needs to be done whole heartedly, i.e with the love that it is intended and expected.
