Repenting of ones sins is one of the first things Jesus preached about,( i.e Matthew 4: 17)It is seeking forgiveness from Our Heavenly Father for all of our short-comings.We yield our will to God when we repent and in turn embrace His will in place of ours, so that He(God) can start preparing us, to enter and share His heavenly kingdom.
