Jesus says that we need to participate in life and serve others not just to reflect on his life and do nothing. He demonstrates courage to carry out the steps necessary for his own death. He has firm knowledge that his sacrifice was required to save mankind. He also shows submission to his "Father Will". These actions demonstrate his love for mankind He does not show anger or frustration towards us or his captors. Heavenly treasures must be different to earthly treasures as we will of course be different. Jesus says Heaven, will provide riches based on our lives on earth. Therefore we must feel that we deserve to be in Heaven and we will become part of God or we will reject ourselves as unworthy to be in heaven. Our greatest battles on earth take place in our minds and we need to overcome our basic and selfish nature to enjoy Heaven Jesus defines a great person as one who serves other. What did Jesus mean when he said he"did not come to be served but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many"?
