The inappropriate use of the temple to make money, cuts across the temple's prime function of a meeting place between God and man. Jesus' anger shows how he felt justified, in abusing the presence of the money lenders and words were not enough to make his point. Yes, I do pray for improvement in my financial situation which he did not promise. I also pray for people not to die and get well. These things are tied up with immediate problems but I really am asking for strength to get through these difficult times and I do get this help. Jesus was angered by religious people inappropriately taking peoples money (robbers den) Why did Jesus take such dramatic action and not just condem with words?

What did the blind man acknowledge about Jesus by calling him the "Son of David"? I cannot feel that the blind man is like me. However although he could not see Jesus he could hear his voice but different to me, he knew immediately who he was.
