1325 entries for this category: At this stage I would not die just to be a martyr since it is against nature to wish to die,especially if you feel your life is valuable. On the other hand, I would defend my family and kill if I had too. If I die doing this, I would accept this outcome. However if I was pressed on my beliefs I would not change them and rely on Jesus to argue my position and accept the end result. It took me many years, to realise that my life is lived in the present and so my next task is the only thing I can control. Therfore i have leant to do my next task as well as I can and not worry about the future. I let Jesus worry about that. Peter was convinced that he would be loyal to Jesus even if it meant dying. Who would you sincerely be willing to die for?

What did Jesus imply by saying, "This my blood of the new coveaneant, which is poured out for many"? Consider that the Passover was a Jewish festinal that remembered when a plague was a death "passed over" the home of those Jewish people who marked their doors with blood from a lamb was remembered this day with a feast of unleavened bread. The words of Jesus signified that the practices of Jewish Passover using a lamb would be replaced with his own blood and body.
