Define "Salvation"/ Note how Zachariah ( the father of John the Baptist) praises God for fulfilling an old promise (oath / covenant) that "we...should serve him (God) without fear, in holiness and rightteousness before him all the days of our life" The definition of "Salvation" by Zachariah relates to how his own son will be one to show the way for the Jews to follow Jesus in order to gain Salvation through the remission of their sins.
