1325 entries for this category: The focus of this small group was to pray. The reason to pray was for Jesus to carry the role allocated to him by God. The level of contact between Jesus and God was apparent in the visual changes in Jesus. The frequency of Jesus praying, indictes the intimate contact that he had developed with God and is a message for us. Most people around me would not be able to come up with a reponse quickly. Some people say that Jesus is central to Christainity in which the assistance of the needy is taught. Some people say he is the Son of God and the only gateway to God. Other people say that Jesus is old fashioned in today's world. The reason and timing may be for 2 reasons. a) To indicate that through Jesus, all the Jewish tribes could be included through His message. b) Up to this time Jesus had been looking towards mainly the Jewish tribes to preach his message. However after this period and the rejection by the Jews, Jesus directed his message to the gentiles. What was the focus of this small groups activity before the unusual events occurred?
