What part of this teaching by Jesus do you find hard to accept and why?

To forgive a person 7 times a day is beyond me but not beyond God.

I find it hard to forgive and not want to retailiate. To do so is required of Christains. I pray that some day I might.

What about this story disturbs or comforts you?

The disturbing parts are there is hell, the times I have failed to help other people and there is only one life to lead.

The comforting parts are that very little help to others is important and there are good sides to being poor.

What is the Good News, and how does this relate to guilt and condemnation of divorce?

The Good News is the coming of Jesus Christ and our salvation through him.

Divorce is chosen by many people as the best alternative in their lives and in western cultures this is accepted but appararently not by God.

Perhaps it relates to the binding contract to God at the time of marrage and not the contract we make to each other.

We hope God helps people at the time of divorce where the matter really is only between God and the couple.
