1325 entries for this category: To mankind and all living things, water is basic to our existence. The thirst we feel is due to our body needing to maintain its level of water. Jesus talks of a different thirst which causes us to seek truth and the reason for our existance. This different thirst, Jesus tells the Samaritan Woman is completely satisfied by a belief in him as "The Christ" and there would no longer be a need to seek further answers. jesus did not perform tricks he preformed miracles. he did not preform illusions he acted out of love he is indeed the son of god who came to earth as man to live as us to understand man more and to demonstate real love jesus is our key to life and its rather simple,worship and love him and all in life WILL happen John was of the earth and was not able to baptise with the "Holy Spirit". Jesus was from Heaven and bought the "Holy Spirit" to earth for the first time. Jesus did pass this power onto to his disciples and eventually to us through his Church. What type of water is Jesus offering to the woman so that she will never thirst again?
