Jesus spoke the truth and gave us a way to deal with the evil of the world though the gospels. How is it that "desiring to do Gods will " in a person knowing that Jesus teaching comes from God? We all want to know what is God's plan for us. Though our indivual pathways we are all now reading the teaching of Jesus through a study of the Gosples.

If the world hates those who testify that its works are evil, why didnt Jesus deemphasize this portion of His message?

What did you learn about Jesus background that stands out or surprises you? I wasn't aware that the water was bought from the well and stored in a public cistern or that everyone ate off a communal plate from the centre of table. I didn't realise it was common to have teachers walking the countryside with their disciples or that it was so special for women to attend public lectures in the open.
