The light in the teaching of Jesus is to receive and give love. Jesus was the Son of Man and temptation is a part of living. Due to the strength of Jesus' bond with God he was able to withstand all the temptations. We pray that we may resist some temptations that come our way but we know if we are sorry for our mistakes and believe then, Jesus will take the effect of these mistakes. How is Jesus coming into Galilee like light coming into a dark place/ What is there about Jesus that is like light?

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable? I guess in Jesus's eyes there is no difference in so-called lowly people as that's the human's measurement of people. Since Jesus loves us everyone so much, of course he will value those people as much as, if not more than, others.
