The human state is meant to be testing and beyond our capabilities.

If we do our best and believe that God will make up for our short falls then we will have strength and ability in difficult times.

Firstly it is sobering to realise, that there are many disasters which are faced by us all. These will be devastating to us in our normal living, whether we pray or not i.e cancer, death, weather disasters.

In the ways of Jesus which can not predicted by us. he will act if asked, but the healings as far as I can appreciate, appear to be mostly in our minds to accept that some good will come out of the disasters for our lives.  

Through pray to Jesus, we can accept our misfortunes and know we will be helped.
