The friend of the bridegroom has to step aside for the bridegroom to take center stage "unless one is born anew, he can't see the Kingdom of God." By being born again one becomes qualified to see the Kingdom of God, which before was impossible. It also means, I suppose, that one becomes a 'babe in Christ' and so does "long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation" [1 Pt 2:2] Why was it necessary for Jesus to increase and John to decrease?

Children of God Thats what i think of myself when i pray - a child of God and at times get overwhelmed by the unconditional love he has for me. I try to be that better person Jesus wants on a daily basis, sometimes i suceed sometimes i fail. He has helped me learn to forgive myself - what a gift that is. Thankyou Jesus.
