1347 entries for this category: Jesus told them that they had to eat his flesh and drink his blood. This sounds quite ridiculous, and many people turned away because they thought he was a loony. However, those who were really seeking God, although they may not have known what he was talking about, stayed because they wanted to know the truth in Jesus' sayings - and they believed he had the truth "You have the words of eternal life" says Simon Peter. What was there about Jesus` message caused so many of His disciples to turn away?

Jesus believes that lowly people are very valuable. It is usually the lowly people that needs our help the most, for what good is it that we help people who are already sorted? We need to see through the layers of the onion (beyond what the sinner is doing) and see through judgements to help the people up to their full potential and let them see what they can be in the kingdom of god.
