Why did Jesus instruct his followers to react passively when attacked?

Jesus came to preach peace,love, forgiveness, and reconciliation unlike the earlier prophets. Jesus is the only messanger from God in the entire bibe who preaches forgiveness. All the earlier prophets are characterized of Jerusalem versus Babylon and the sort. Jesus wanted to be an example of the gspel He came to take to the nations, and in this, all His disciples learned how to react to their enemies even when after He was taken away from them.

Why is it evil to use oaths?

We as human beings are not expected to be righteous. Truth, right, and justice only belong to God. Many times we speak in a reckless way, so we are not expected to swear. Besides the bible says that when you make avow, defer not to fulfill it, because God des not delight in fools. Most times we are so forgetful that we shall make vows, or swear oaths, but in turn forget them. It is better as Jesus said, to always try and be true to our wors, than swear, and be ashamed infront of the saints in Heaven.

How does Jesus fulfill the law and the prophets?

Jesus preached love and forgiveness plus worshiping God and God alone. The law of the prophets is summed up in these three factors. Jesus was or is an advocate of worshipping God but with respect foe people an issue that the earlier prophets failed to preach. When we read the bible in the old testament, we see how people commited sin in the name of wanting to please God. Jesus preached reconciliation, love and forgiveness to create peace among societies.
