Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment?

Love One Another is a new commandment, because it does not mean loving our family members, friends, those people who are capable of returning our love. The Love Jesus talks about includes loving our enemies, the poor, the people we would not normally associate with, because of their reputation or status in society. Jesus showed this Love when He went about preaching, healing the sick, entering the tax coolectors house, waking the dead widw`s son, forgiving people when He was on the cross. This is not an easy to do as an ordinary person, but as a ``New Person `` living according to Jesus`commandment this is possible .

Jesus said we must Love One Another as He has Loved us. Jesus Loved us indiscriminatory i.e. He loved even those who did not deserve His Love. He loved even those who were insignificant according to earthly people, the children, females, poor, lame, blind, sick. St Paul in his 1st letter to the Corinthians13 emphasises how Jesus expects us to love one another. Jesus wants us to love even those who cannot return our love.

the thing is, I keep asking for forgiveness but then I make the same mistakes again. after a while I think I'm not worth it anymore to be forgiven. there's nothing I can do about it cause I know I'm never worth it. I don't deserve God's love but that doesn't stop me from loving God. I can lose it all, but not my faith in God and His Love. the reason why I still think that there's still happiness and hope in life is because I know God exists..
