1347 entries for this category: When we wrong someone,we seek their forgiveness in order forthe relationship to be restored. Forgiveness is not granted because a person deserves to be forgiven. No one desevers to be forgiven. Forgiveness is an act of love,mercy and grace. Forgiveness is a decision to not hold somethng against another person, despite what they've done to you. The Bible tells us that we all in need of forgiveness from God. We have all commited sin. Ecclesiastes 7:20 But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven. I place my trust in You for salvation. God's love for us is unlimited, and knowing that I can come to him and talk about anything I have done wrong fills me with confidence and belief. Knowing fully well that as I have forgiven others for what they have done to me, forgiven myself for what I have done, I believe absolutely that God Almighty has truly forgiven me for my sins. I see a new tomorrow, leaving the past behind me, for I know as I entrust my future to him, my best days are yet to come. How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.

Why would someone or something try to snatch sheep out of Jesus` hand? When a sheep is under Jesus' tent, it's safe from the devil, and sure of the Kingdom of God. The devil wants as many followers, as Jesus wants the, or rather it wants to rule the world. It will always want to snatch sheep from the hand of Jesus, to take it back, because these are two rival kingdoms.
