Why do you think Jesus chose, after he rose, to show Himself first to Mary Magdalene?

Mary was there at the right time when Jesus was ready to go to the Father in heaven.She was weeping and Jesus had compassion and revealed Himself to her.Jesus also new her heart and new how much she loved Him.Jesus is no repecter of persons, He treated men and women as equals.

Why do you think Jesus chose, after he rose, to show Himself first to Mary Magdalene?

I think this was the woman who was going to the tomb everyday to look after Jesus' body, and He showed Himself to her first, because that morning, she was there first before the disciples. I don't think that Jesus can refuse to reveal Himself to anyone because of status!

What do you think the disciples felt when they saw the tomb was empty?

They felt fear at first, because none of them could remember at that time what Jesus used to prophesy upon Himself, so they did not think of the ressurection. Instead they tought that someone, probably the high priests, had stolen the body. They were full of fear!
