Why did Jesus say, Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and announce the Kingdom of God?

if jesus wanted to tell the man who wanted to follow him that once he decides to follow God there is nothing more important .there is no turning back, no being attached to any worldly things no matter how dear and precious those things are.He is telling them that to be fit for the kingdom of God they should embrace God and only God.

What personal philosophy or mindset diverted Jesus from ever using violence?

jesus said the most important commandment after the one that sais to love our god and to put him before every other thing or person, he sais that we should love our neighbours and that its very easy for us to love those who are good to us , however it is what God wants us to do when we love and pray to those who hurt us.another reason is that jesus came not to condemn us but to save us....
