How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him?" a "New" commandment?

The linkage of intimacy with obedience is that when you have a personal relationship with God,when you have faith and when you believe that He is your savior, you definitely have a good walk with Him,then intimacy and obedience to Him will be observed and done accordingly.

As a christian, the feeling with the most powerful person in the universe is with you, is such a wonderful opportunity, most likely if i had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, i will thank Him for all the blessings that He showered upon me and my family, for giving me a supportive family. Discussion would depend on the flow of the conversation, but the very first thing that I will prompt Him is that, the greatest achievements of my life,with His grace and goodness.By this He would know that His son used the talents He has given him.This is the focal point of our discussion, on what I have done to all what He has given,how i share the talents, character of a christian, and how i spent my 24 years of my life
