1525 entries for this category: Jesus attaches grest value to them..possibly the greatest since by helping them he assures us that we shall see God....its true we get so caught up in our lives that we hardly have "time" to help the less fortunate...let us pray for His grace that we strive to see Him in others. Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment? This was important because as per tradition it was loving those who loved you and hating others...an eye for an eye,tooth for tooth....however Jesus came to reverse that law asking us to "love our enemies and to bless those who persecute us so that our father in heaven will reward us accordingly...as Scott Dudley rightly put it...we must love one another simply because Christ loved and gave up His life for us all.

"According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?" being loved by God means having Him within us ,living with Him and having Him protect us ALWAYS-from sin,from danger,from temptation.the only thing we need to do is to have faith and keep His word.
