1525 entries for this category: A little yeast is enough to leaven bread...similarly their teaching could affect the whole community..hence Jesus cautions us against their teaching Peter was able to walk on water towards Jesus because he trusted Him...however as soon as he began to notice the strong wind,his attention shifted from Jesus to the wind.So he became afraid and began to sink. Life gives us our share of problems and suffering but as long as we look upon our Lord and Saviour,we can "walk" through our problems but when we falter and let the problems overtake us,then it becomes too much for us to bear. How is the teaching of the Pharisees and Saducees like yeast?

Why do Jesus`s enemies keep demanding a sign? Why doesn`t Jesus do a miracle for them? They were more interested in the miracles he could perform and not in His teachings or in Him.Hence Jesus didn't feel it necessary to oblige them since they would be fruitless anyway.
