It makes you feel as if you are loved by God for whatever you do if you are sorry and ask for forgivness he will forgive you because he loves you. He knows that we are sinners thats why he sent Jesus to die for us on the cross so that we can be forgiven. Knowing that makes you want to try harder for God and use his example and makes you be forgiving to others.

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love. Any human being when commits a sin feels guilty about it. when he has confessed his sins to god and knows that his sins are forgiven, he feels releived. This increases his love with god and becomes more closer to God.
