What did Jesus imply by saying, "This is my blood of the new coveneant, which is poured out for many."? Consider that the Passover was a Jewish festival that remembered when a plague of death "passed over" the home of those Jewish pe Jesus implied that His blood can cleanse us from our sin therefore we should partake in it so that our sins will be forgiven.
