Joseph from the town of Arimathaea was a wealthy Jewish religious leader. What risk did he take and why was he willing to do this? Note: Isaiah 53:9 - "And they made His grave with the wicked, But with the rich at His death." He risked his status, and probably his life in going to pilate. He did this because maybe he accorded in the crucifixion of Jesus and was feeling guilty because in truth he himself believed in Jesus.
