Compassion is sharing the good news of salvation to those who are un- or misinformed about it. We share the good news because we know that time is short and people who don't experience the healing power of the good news might (or shall) suffer the consequences of living life without Christ. As K.P. Johannan put it, "a rice bowl is no substitute for the Gospel." They should go hand-in-hand Ü because dying with a full stomach is different from dying with a full heart. A rich man and a beggar, who are both in spiritual darkness, are said to be in equal footing. Both need the Good News. If we have compassion for others, we would try to share the Good news to others before it's too late. Define "Compassion"?
