God loves us so much that He gave His only son, Jesus Christ to save us from our sins. To be loved by God means Jesus, His only son, paid the price for our sins... To be loved by God means Jesus, His only son, died in our place. As Joshua Harris perfectly described it, "God transferred Jesus' perfect, sinless record to us". That's how much He loves all of us.

God promised us eternal life with Him. We just have to obey and believe Him. 

Yes, Jesus believe that lowly people are still valuable. Jesus put their dignity back. He shows that even the poor, the blind, the lame are worthy of respect and should be treated as human. He welcome them with His arms wide open.

He is teaching us that we should help the needy, the poor, the homeless, rather than our rich neighbors because, they are worthier of our help than these people.
