If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?

I would discuss everything about His life...

Iwanna hear His story straight fom Him.

I want Him to discuss every detail of His life because I really wanted to get to know Him.

I wanted to be close to as a friend, as a sister, as a servant/follower.

And then, I want to discuss also my life.

I want Him to know all the things about me...every single thing about me.

I wanted to share with Him my happiness, my pains, my sorrows... Everything!!!

I don't want to give Him just a part of me or just a part of my heart. I want to give Him every part of me... every part of my heart.

That's what I want...

If given the chance..I will thank Him for all the blessing God has given me, and be sorry for all my faults, then all my feelings, innermost thoughts will be poured out to HIM. Its a very rare chance. Although we are with Him during the Holy Eucharist

How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him?" a "New" commandment?

To be a Christian is to have an intimate relationship with the Lord. And intimate means that we understand what Jesus wants us to do with our lives. That we follow the life He led here on earth. He is the example for all of us to emulate. We will definitely find it very, very difficult to live exactly the way Jesus lived in this world in terms of avoiding sin but that I think should be our objective. Perfection is impossible in this world but that should be our ultimate goal.
