Why did Jesus challenge the disciples to "give them (5000 people) something to eat" before multiplying the food? He wants to test their faith!!

Jesus knows what`s best Jesus doesn`t give little,but more than what we wanted and hoped for. When giving something, he wants us to work hard for it, so that we would appreciate the blessing more and the love of those.
