Why did Jesus cry out, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?" Note: This is a direct quote from the Jewish Scripture, Psalm 22:1.

I can only think that in this instance, Jesus was human, and it is a human thing to ask for supplication and support in times of distress, need and pain. These were what Jesus was feeling at that time, and God seemed oblivious to his suffering and not assuaging it, so he cried out the words.

Why is it signficant that Jesus fulfilled what was predicted hundreds of years before? Note: Mark refers to the old Scriptures from the Prophet Isaiah (chapter 53) "He poured out his soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And he bore the sins of many." Isaiah 53 contains many more matches to events in Jesus` life.
