Define "Compassion"?
compassion for me is feeling the suffering of others and acting to make things resolve the pain. By Praying for them and ask GOD for mercy. Just like Daniel Pray for the Israelites during the Babylonian occupation, it was written in the book of Nehimaiah that Israelites will be taken into disolation 70 years because of their iniquity, Daniel make  fasting and sackloth asking for God's mercy that they may be free from present bondage they are suffering. This suffering that they feeling bec.of their misuse of the freewill that God gave them, it causes them to take the other road and disobey God. We can see that inspite of the unfaithfulnes of the Israelites God remain faithful to them up to this time. The decades of their sufferings was not permanent Today they are free from any bondage. Their suffering for hundred years taught them a great lesson and become a good nation, God restored them. Jesus teach us also to be compasionate to others, there are times, we are not there to help them physically but our Prayers still count.

How did Jesus prove to John that Jesus was the Messiah predicted by the prophet Isaiah? Note: see "Jesus Rejected at Nazareth - Luke 4:14-30"
Jesus demontrated to Joh the Baptist's messengers that He is indeed the Messiah by showing them He could heal the sick, cast out demons, forgive sins and raise the dead.  In this way, the messegers had a firsthand eyewitness to report to John.
