What does Jesus try to teach his disciples by going with them through the storm? Jesus is trying to teach his disciples that He is always there with us amid the perils, danger and strife of this world, and that He will not abandon us even if it seems that He is not around or nowhere to be seen. He is also demonstrating that we should have more faith and trust that He will make everything all right even if He seems asleep and unfettered by the turmoil.
