The host became angry when He learned that those he invited to His great suffer or banguet rejected his invitation and prioritize their own possesions and relationship. Instead he invited those poor people and less fortunate one in the street, to fill his house and have them share with him his banguet.

  Just like Jesus came to rescue Israelites from their sins and have the grace of God be poured upon them, but becoz of their unbelief and hardness of heart, God extented the salvation to all represented by those poor people and unfortunate.
