What things are Gods? "Then give to Caesar the things that are Caesar`s, and to God the things that are God`s."
The whole universe belongs to God. Our lives belong to God.  He created us.  However, He gave us a choice or free will to determine if we want to be with Him or not.The things that belong to Caesar, who is mortal and human, are the things of the earth, material possessions, laws and policies that were created by man to idolize someone human like Caesar.  So you render obedience to Caesar's laws if you live in his country and want to be a good citizen, but at the same time, you also render obedience and practice virtues and the laws of God according to the Scriptures because you are a child of God's and belong to him.  You heart, mind and soul all belong to God if you so choose.

Why were the chief priests and scribes angry, what was it that Jesus said?
Servants that was first sent were all the prophets sent to foretold the good news. Jesus was the Beloved Son sent by God the Father that was beaten by our sins. The chief priest and scribes were angry because they knew they were the tenants referred in the parable who never accepted Him as Christ.

Why were the chief priests and scribes angry, what was it that Jesus said?
The priests and scribes were angry because in their hearts they knew that they were the tenants that Jesus was referring to in the parable. And in the parable of the stone, the builders who rejected the stone are the priests and scribes.
