If Jesus knew he was being betrayed "behold, the hand of him who betrays me", why not tell who was the betrayer?

Jesus did not announce who would betray Him because it would preempt the plan of salvation. Knowing His disciples, they would surely get mad at Judas and they might hurt him and prevent him from betraying Jesus, thus, His purpose in coming could not be realized and there would be no redeemer.
