How does the statement: "The Guards Mock Jesus" make you feel?

Makes me feel sorry for them because they obviously do not know what they are doing. It also makes me sad because there are a lot of people like that in the present time, ignorant of Jesus, mocking and disbelieving, not knowing that their time here on earth is limited and that without this and faith, they cannot share the kindgom of Jesus in the hereinafter.

Peter denied knowing Jesus because he was afraid for his life. He probably thought at that time that he could be charged along with Jesus with trumped up crime charges.
