Why did Jesus delay for two days before going to see Lazarus?

IT IS ALSO KNOWN FROM THE SCRIPTURES THAT THE SON OF GOD WILL BE RISEN FROM THE DEAD IN 3 DAYS. JESUS DELAYED GOING TO SEE LAZARUS, HE WANT GOD TO BE GLORIFIED THAT IN 3 DAYS OF LAZARUS DEATH HE WILL BE RISEN AS JESUS WILL BE BE RISEN BY THE FATHER GOD. AND ALL THAT WAS WRITTEN IN THE SCRIPTURESWILL BE FULFILLED.

Why did Jesus delay for two days before going to see Lazarus?

Jesus delayed going to Lazarus so that word may spread among he people about Lazarus's death. In this way, more people would know and witness Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead and believe in the power of God. Jesus himself said that the purpose of Lazarus's death was for the "glory of God" - meaning, so that He could showcase Lazarus as an example of the almighty power of God.

Why did Jesus delay for two days before going to see Lazarus?

Jesus tarried going to Lazarus house because Jesus knew that He was going to raise Lazarus from the dead. To have people believe and witness this, word had to be spread around about Lazarus death in the 2 days that Jesus delayed. After the miracle, many people had come to believe in Jesus because they had seen and witnessed the event. Jesus himself said that Lazarus death's purpose was for the glory of God, so that Jesus could raise him up from death for all the people to see and witness the power of God.
