JESUS HUMBLY ACCEPT THAT IT WAS THE FATHER NOT HIM. Raising Lazarus from the dead demonstrates the glory of God because there is absolutely nobody who can do that except God. He creates, He takes away and He resurrects. Witnessing a miracle like that is witnessing the awesome power and glory of our God. Who are the children of God who are scattered abroad? The Jews/Israelites that are in exile abroad are the ones in Babylon, the ones sho remained in Egypt, and the ones who are scattered about in Israel, away from the city of Jerusalem. Possibly, other tribes of Abraham who are still residing outside of Jerusalem.
