Because Jesus looks at the heart of Peter and He know from the start that Peter will be a great leader. One incident in the Bible Jesus asks Peter like this, who am I? and Peter answered immediately that Jesus is the son of God. Why did Jesus allow Judas to betray Him, when He clearly knew Judas` evil intention? Jesus allowed judas to betrayed Him. Bec. it is written in the scripture that one of His disciple will betray Him in order to fulfill what was written in the holy book. That Jesus will sacrifice Himself to save us from SIN. That every strifes He recieved in the cross we are healed and became friends again to the God Father which was broken in the garden of eden.

"Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished?" i believe that he have accomplished all the purpose that have been stated. he was our saviour because he was nailed on the cross to save us from our sins and our mesiah because through his preaching, we have learned a lot.
