Why did God choose such a unique way (through a virgin birth) to bring Jesus into the world?

God, moves always in unique way, we cant fathom HIS wisdom.. His ways & thoughts are beyond ours..

Given the scandals associated with the women Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and the wife of Uriah (Bathsheba), why do you think they were mentioned in the geneology of Jesus?

I believe that these women, though of controversial issues at that time, were mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus to show that Jesus did not come from a lineage of people who were completely pure. Jesus descended from human beings who might have erred in their ways before but also fiercely believed in God and repented their sins. David was a great sinner in Bathsheba. but he was also a great repenter.It is just one proof that God treats everyone equally and does not discriminate. As long as you believe and have faith in God and repent your sins, you are His child no matter what and He recognizes and acknowledges that.
