Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished? Jesus was able to accomplish all of the purposes. He was sent to this earth to bring the good news, preach about the Kingdom of God. and He was sent to this earth to save us and He did that by dying on the cross, sacrificing Himself as a ransom for all of us. By doing so, He showed how much God loved us and gave meaning to our lives.

How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him? a New commandment? i guess if you are intimate with Jesus you become His servant and be obedient by loving others.
