why did JESUS penalty for sin need to include physical and emotiona pain why not just spiritual separation from God? Jesus, that time is really a man flesh and blood, he substituted himself to save us from our sins. Jesus being God became man to serve us, to redeem us. John 3:16.... I thank God for loving us even though we are sinners... He is so faithful ...He won`t let us go deeper into our sins.... Thank you Jesus for saving me and giving me eternal life... I love you!

Why did Jesus? penalty for sin need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God? I think that the reason behind is to show mankind that He is the Son of God and the physical pain is to show us physically and let us believe that he has saved us from death and suffering.
