Why did Judas betray Jesus with a kiss? Betray would mean to deliver to an enemy by treachery. Judas tricked Jesus by making Him believed that he belonged to Him by kissing Him.
But He was intended to be born as a traitor to fulfill the scriptures.

Why did not the Father let the cup pass and spare Jesus the pain of the crucifiction? Because He loves us, that for us to be able to be reunited with Him, He was willing to let His Son die on the cross.
