Why did the multitude want Barabbas released rather than Jesus? Honestly I was too wondering why they did it despite Jesus being a rightous man. It was written in the scriptures and will be done. But it gives an idea how evil man is, how jealous man is despite the goodness of a person we tend to pull him down.
