Why did those who passed by mock Jesus? People have mocked Jesus because they did not believe that Jesus is the King of Israel. They believe Jesus was a great liar claiming to be the son of god but who could`nt save himself. Jesus became man to die for us and saved us from our sins. If and if only He showed to people right there and then that he can perform miracles, we might not as well be saved. So he just trust in God.

Why did those who passed by mock Jesus? Because they do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God. They say that if he really was then why can`t He save Himself? They are ignorant of the fact that Jesus was enduring all that pain so that they will be saved.
