What was Jesus feeling and thinking while he was mocked and humiliated in front of others? Recall Jesus` own teachings (Matt 5:11), "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven."

Jesus' feeling was that of humiliation but merciful as He knew that they didnt know what they were doing.

The Roman governor, Pilate, found that Jesus had done nothing wrong. Yet, he authorized Jesus` crucifixion to please the crowd. Can you explain why people put popularity above doing what is right?

People put popularity above doing what is right because they want to remain in power and get personal benefits for themselves and be glorified. This is greed and selfishness without giving regards to the truth. Pilate might be in trouble if he did not fulful the wish of the people to crucify Jesus.

The religious leaders assembled a court to judge Jesus. Jesus answered only one charge made against him, and also gave evidence to prove the charge. What was the charge and for what was Jesus determined guilty?

The charge was whether He was the son Of God for which He replied that He was Christ and would be seated at the right of God. Jesus was determined guilty for plasphemy.
