Jesus said "I send forth the promise of my Father on you", what was the promise?

The promise which the Father had made to them “through” the Saviour.(Mat.10:19; Joh.14:16-17;Joh.14:26) The promise was, that they should be aided by the power of the Holy Spirit. He also doubtless referred to the promise of God, made in the days of Joel, respecting the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus took careful time to explain all things about his death and resurrection. Does this give you confidence in his words and promises, knowing he and others had predicted his death and resurrection? "Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself."

Willing sacrifice of Himself’ it’s fullfilment of the God’s

planning for purposes of peace, and not for evil; to

give us posterity and a hope. The assure of salvation

we can get only the gift of God; created in Christ

Jesus unto good works, which God before prepared

that we should walk in them.
