5333 entries for this category: Why were the religious leaders so upset that Jesus would heal on the Sabbath (religious day off)? i think maybe because the religious leaders were so under the Law. They rest on the sabbath absolutely no work. But Jesus is also Lord os the Sabbath, we can do good on the sabbath. Like Jesus did. we are under Grace and not under the Law. we have the freedom in Jesus!! amen. thank you Lord!!! Please do pray for us in the Philippines, we are hit by a Typhoon. How is Jesus` way fresh or new compared to old religious practice or tradition? Jesus' fresh new way requires that you should be reborn or in other words, you should change completely, not just parts of you. He compares this to new wine being poured into old wineskins that would burst.New wine (new perspective) should be housed in new wineskins.
